I registered for this shelf for our wedding and didn't receive it, so we purchased it after the fact. Upon opening, the first thing to note is how tightly all the parts were packaged (pictured). Everything was taped, bubble wrapped, and secured with foam in a nice dense package. I appreciated this!On to installation.I'm a relatively handy gal but certain projects trip me up from time to time. Not the case with this shelf!I've included a picture of the instructions that are really more of a parts list. It's important to note, you want to put together each arm before trying to install. When I opened the package, my initial thought was that I could install each (4) circle brackets first, but I'm glad I didn't try that as I would have been unsuccessful.Anyway, I found it useful to have two levels handy. With the pipes being metal, I was able to stick a magnetic level to the side while I ensured it was vertically level and used another level on a shelf to ensure the arms would be level across.It came with extra parts, which was great, because I did need 2 extra wall anchors.I will note, one of the shelves was warped. This wasn't an issue because the package comes with shelf coupling brackets to secure the shelves in place (not listed in parts list) and it was strong enough to pull the shelf flat.Overall I would buy this again and recommend to anyone.I had already bought the three tier, matching floating farm shelves. They are sturdy and attractive. So it made sense to get this small shelf too. It's perfect.good shelves that seem to support a good amount of weight. i have glassware and a couple of filled decanters on it. doesn't fit wine bottle between shelves, but for my uses it's fine. it also has brackets\clamps to keep the shelves in place which is super nice!Wow, these are beautiful, classy, and solid when mounted on the wall. I was delighted that the shelves have a somewhat varied colors on each side, allowing me to pick the one I liked best. Both are very nice.To makes things sturdier: after the shelf is mounted, twist the pipes nice and tight where they connect to the wall. Until we did this, the whole thing was a little wobbly.Assembly is easy, but mounting is a challenge. I'm not sure one person could this without extraordinarily accurate measuring. We ended up attached one of the pipe assemblies to the wall, then holding the second pipe assembly on the wall and laying a single shelf across them to aid levelling. With two of us, it was slightly tedious but straightforward.As noted, there are not instructions on how to assemble the unit. It seemed straightforward to figure it out, though.We like this so much we are going to buy more for other rooms of the house!PS I was not compensated in any way for sharing this opinion. I am gushing because I am luv'ing!All's well that ends well, right? That being said, this kit includes 1 sheet that has zero installation templates, zero measurements (other than the distance between shelves (which is utterly non-helpful). Be prepared to measure once, twice, three times, and make liberal use of a level and a long straight edge (I used a metal meter stick, but had to move it multiple times and maintain it's position and level while doing so). The super important dimensions you should know. The boards are pretty much spot on a 48" in length. The NOT communicated or shared dimension that you need to know is the center point on the top and bottom of the pipe uprights is 42 and 5/8". My advice to the manufacturer, take a half step towards helping out your customers and provide a template and/or real measurements to assist in seamless installation.3 out of 5 stars ONLY because it looks great and once installed it definitely fulfills it's purpose. Proper installation instructions would bump this at least a star. The threaded/screw in pieces are a bit "wiggly", too. fix that along w/the instructions and this is a 5 star product.These shelves turned out better than I expected! They are very sturdy even though we used dry wall anchors instead of the anchors that were in the package.Love this, but the instructions are useless. I ended up watching a YouTube tutorial of a similar unit and it was very helpful. It was easy to install and great quality.This looks beautiful but I received defective parts. Both pipe don't allow the opening of the joint adapters to align with the other adapter's opening of two vertical pipes. Now it's gonna be a long process to return and replace it. I'd rather have replacement parts as soon as possible.
